(BACP 2003)

The accommodation they offer has to meet our guidelines.

Counsellors working for Norwich Centre Projects in Norwich are all highly qualified and include graduates of the highly regarded Diploma in Counselling of the University of East Anglia.  This course is Accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and is also one of the few recognised by the Counselling and Psychotherapy Forum for Primary Care.

Our counsellors are experienced in employee counselling and hold BACP Accreditation as registered practitioners or an equivalent.  They have to meet the present minimum requirements to become a registered counselling practitioner with the BACP

Contract or Agreement?

We offer what you need, a confidential counselling service for your employees without the add-ons that you may not want. Compared to the larger EAPs our charges represent excellent value.

We offer two options –

*    A ‘pay as you go’ agreement where we offer an agreed number of sessions per employee and invoice you monthly for the sessions used.  If you have a budget for this service we will monitor the use of the service and keep within your budget.

*    A contract – for an annual fee we offer an agreed number of sessions per employee, liaison through an experienced Project Manager, annual reports and feedback where appropriate on organisational issues we may identify.

What are the benefits of having an agreement?

*    A confidential professional counselling service for your employees on a ‘pay as you go’ basis

*    Suitable for smaller organisations and those wanting to assess demand

*    Monthly invoices making cash flow easier to monitor

What are the benefits of having a contract?

*     The rapid offer of a first appointment to clients usually within three days of initial contact

*     A Project Manager for your contract who will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the service and for liaising with your company

*     Regular reports including statistical analysis of the use made of the

service and highlighting any areas of concern which may have     organisational implications

Project Management

Agreements

If you opt for an agreement, the start date will be agreed with our company’s Project Manager who will advise you on publicising the service, and is available to come to talk to your employees about the service.  There is no charge for this within Norfolk.  If you require a visit outside Norfolk please discuss this at the initial meeting.

Unlike contractual arrangements, informal agreements of this kind do not entitle employees to have the rapid response that contracts ensure.  Every effort will nonetheless be made to arrange a suitable appointment as soon as possible.

The service in Norwich will be provided through a centrally established Counselling Service available to clients from Monday to Friday both within and outside of core working hours.  Outside Norwich the service is provided by our affiliate counsellors and every effort is made to match the counsellor’s availability with the client’s requirements.

All appointments will be made or facilitated by receptionist staff at the Norwich Centre Counselling Service.

The employer of clients who use the Service in this way will be billed either on a monthly basis or at the termination of any given counselling process.  No ‘joining fee’ is required.

Contracts
